We are elated you have decided to join us! On this site, you will find everything you need to know for the upcoming nuptials of Aaliyah and Chris (#SandersAtSunset). We cannot wait to celebrate with you all in beautiful Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Our Story

Aaliyah crossed Chris' path while the two were on a rare night out with friends. Aaliyah had just finished a dance concert with Moving Body Dance Company and wanted to go out and celebrate the end of a great and busy dance season. After participating in a scholarship banquet with 100 Black Men of Greater Columbia, Chris was out to meet a few friends in the Vista. Both Chris and Aaliyah ended up in the former Truth of Columbia lounge. The two sparked up some small talk then Chris asked Aaliyah to brunch (#ProMove!). The following week, brunch turned into a walk to the USC horseshoe, then to Bourbon on Main and needless to say the rest is history!

 

Through a pandemic and an entirely changed world, Chris and Aaliyah managed to grow true and genuine affection for each other. They have laughed, cried, sang, danced and truly cherished each moment over the last year and a half. On Feburary 26, 2021 while at a family dinner at the Capital City Club, Chris perfectly popped the question surrounded by their closest friends and family members. 

 

We are so honored to celebrate our love with you all. We are looking forward to creating more lasting memories with you in Jamaica.
